Permission Magazine went on the road with the Smart Car, courtesy of Zap. If you're looking for the NY-LA photo blog, it will be back up in a few weeks, once I get the last entries rewritten properly.
-Jayson

We've got the winner of the first Battle of the Bands, and it's Futuro. Head over to their site and let them know what you think. Be sure to say you heard them at Permission Magazine.

Important correction: this show includes (Brian) Amsterdam, a great young musician from Aeria Records. Unfortunately, when I talked about him on the podcast, I ended up talking about a Merseyside band called Amsterdam. If you liked his song "See You Soon" (which you should, it rules), be sure to pick up The Sore Score.

Another hour of great new music - be sure and leave a comment, let us know what you liked (or hated).

Jayson/Dave, I need to get me some more Omu-tone...could you forward on any dist info you may have? I figure they will be in an automotive ad by mid-summer, but for now, I'm not finding shit online.

Sorry, I still haven't done the show notes. I'll put up the full band list with URLs tonight so you can find Omu-tone.
It can be hard to search for Japanese bands with Google sometimes.

In the meantime, if you want to drop me a line (jayson at permissionmag youknowtherest), I'll give you their info.

Glad you dug Omu-tone, they're so cool.
